Darkness Conjured

Darkness Conjured - Sandy DeLuca This is the second DeLuca novella that I have read and the second one that led me to question whether the author's writing style was flawed or intentional. While the first novella, "Messages From The Dead", seemed sparse and cold, this one went a step further with odd transitions from chapter to chapter or from dream sequence into reality. Overall, the effect is unsettling which plays well into DeLuca's unsettling topics.
